I will introduce Bonfim today. It is a ribbon bracelet like a misanga. If I wear it until it falls off naturally, my wish comes true.   "Bonfim" is the name of a church in Brazil. The church is in the coastal district called State of salahbador in the State of Bahia.             In a legend, when a Portuguese ship was in trouble, the captain asked God for help, and thanks to that, he was able to arrive at Port Salvador safely. There are 365 churches in Salvador, but Bonfim is the most famous as it has the tradition that the wish comes true here. When you buy a bonfim ribbon, you tie a knot three times and it will come true if it falls off naturally.
